LC "Adilet" since March 1st, 2014 has launched the project "A simplified registration of citizens, protection of human rights" with the assistance of the European Union, as well as technical assistance representative DCA Central Asia.
Purpose of the project:
Changing the system of registration of citizens in order to guarantee human rights and fundamental freedoms of underrepresented and marginalized internal migrants.Tasks of the project:
1. Forming a structured and constructive dialogue between civil society and government around a system of civil registration, which will take into account the rights of internal migrants;2. Assisting in the development and implementation of simplified procedures for registration of citizens that will allow internal migrants and invisible citizens to realize their social and political rights;
3. Greater involvement of internal migrants and invisible citizens in decision-making and electoral processes.
Beneficiaries:
- Internal migrants;- The "invisible" people;
- State agencies and local governments;
- Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Activities:
-juridical consultations ;-representation in government , law enforcement and judicial authorities;
-Raising the level of legal knowledge of civil society organizations, government bodies and local self-government through legal information seminars;
-discuss the reform of the system of population registration with stakeholders through the dialogue platform ;
-monitoring the rights of internal migrants and invisible people in the system of registration of and obtain identity documents ;
-legislative activity (drafting Legal Acts within the project).

The project is realized in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bishkek and Chui region. The period of project realization is from 1 of March 2014 to 29 of February 2016.
* Invisible citizens - are those who are never registered and do not have documents proving their identity. They have no official documents, and the absence of any fact of their existence makes them extremely marginal.
