Project Objective:
The development of the regulatory framework necessary for the effective functioning of the State Register of Population of the Kyrgyz Republic based on the international experience considering the circumstances and conditions that are pertain to the Kyrgyz Republic.Project Tasks:
• Analysis of legislation in the field of registration and documentation of citizens; the establishment and functioning of the State Register of Population in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution, international treaties and other normative legal acts;• The study of international experience in the field of the population register functioning;
• The development of draft laws for the regulation of the establishment and functioning of the State Register of Population.

The project is implemented in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek and Chui oblast.
Project duration: May 1, 2016 - December 31, 2018.
