Purpose of the project:

Ensuring access to justice within the framework of constitutional proceedings

Tasks of the project:

1. Increasing the overall level of legal knowledge and awareness of stakeholders on the existing mechanisms of the constitutional legal proceedings;
2. Bringing contrary to the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic into conformity with the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Beneficiaries:

• lawyers / attorneys;
• representatives of civil society organizations;
• citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic;
• legal entities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Activities: 

1. The development, publication and distribution of the Manual of Procedures and mechanisms for bringing complaints to the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and their consideration, as well as a training manual for trainers on the procedures and mechanisms for bringing complaints to the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic and their consideration;
2. The organization and carrying out of legal information workshops for interested lawyers, lawyers and representatives of civil society organizations.
As part of the enforcement component of the project is planned:
1. Provide legal advice on issues related to the constitutional proceedings;
2. Representing the interests of individuals and legal entities in the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Project duration: June 1, 2014 - May 31, 2017.
