Project goal:
Protection and promotion of constitutional rights to freedom of speech and expression in Kyrgyz Republic.Project objectives:
1. Improvement of the situation in the sphere of observance of the rights of journalists and human rights defenders;2. Identification and analysis of the current problems faced by human rights defenders and journalists.

• Users of social networks.
Final beneficiaries:
Human rights defenders, journalists, Mass Media, bloggers and users of social networks that are being persecuted for their statements.Types of activities:
- Provision of free legal consultations and protection of rights of human rights defenders, journalists, Mass Media, bloggers and users of social networks in the state, judicial and law enforcement bodies, who are being persecuted for their statements;- Development and publication of analysis of international standards, national legislation and law enforcement practice in Kyrgyzstan in area of observance of right to freedom of speech and information;
- Monitoring and analysis of legislative initiatives aimed to limiting of the activities of journalists and human rights defenders in order to identify and prevent possible negative consequences.
Project is being implemented in Bishkek city.
Term of the project: 9 months.
