Insuring quality registration services for internal migrants

PF «Legal Clinic «Adilet» has started the implementation of the project «Insuring quality registration services for internal migrants» with the support of the PF «Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions» and «Bread for the world» (BROT) in the framework of the program «CAM II – «Central Asia on the Move»

Project Objective:

Improving the system of registration in order to ensure the rights of internal migrants to basic social services and employment at the place of actual residence.

Project Tasks:

Support for changing the population registration procedures and bringing them into compliance with the Law for the implementation of the Internal Migrants rights and improve the quality PSC services.

Activities:

1. Elaborating the recommendations regarding the legislative issues and law enforcement practice relating to the registration and identity documents obtaining;
2. Provisioning the legal advice on matters related to registration and identity documents obtaining;
3. Representing the interests of the beneficiaries in the state, law enforcement and judicial bodies;
4. Increasing the level of legal knowledge among civil society organizations, government and local self-government bodies by holding the lawful informative workshops.

The project is implemented in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek and Chui oblast. Project duration: May 1, 2016 - December 31, 2018.
